Did anyone else waste an hour of their life watching the latest soap opera disguised as an interesting show in Pan Am?

I thought this had some potential for 1960-1970 tales of air travel when passengers were treated less like self loading freight and it was a sin to get on a plane without a jacket and tie, that part was accomplished but the captains on transcontinental Pan Am flights had a bit of gray in their hair and looked old enough to shave biggrin

Unlike "The Playboy Club" which tanked, the premiere episode of Pan Am actually got pretty good ratings. I have no interest in either show but I am curious to see if my predictions for the two shows will turn out to be accurate.

Missed that gem of a tv show. Something about an airline that hasn't existed since the 1980's ?? just wasn't for me.

I had completely forgotten about this series. Was surprised to see it's still on the air.

I don't know if it is considered a sitcom, but I love HBO's 'Silicon Valley'. I think it is made by the same people that made Office Space.

Yup, Mike Judge made Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, Idiocracy, and Office Space.

Lol, Ok but that was the point. It was a commentary on how something I felt compelled to make a thread about at some point had completely slipped off my radar.

Off to resurrect my Pink Panther thread now. neaner

Every now and then we catch this show and wonder why we don't watch it regularly.
It's also quite a contrast with Melissa's movie comedy roles. The lady's funny!
It's like King of Queens (another great show) without the eye candy of Leah Remini, and a little more heart.

6 years and 127* episodes it seems is the number.

Series ended with the exact same story line as that of Rules of Engagement which ended in 2013. In both series the main characters were adopting a child and while at the hospital to pick up their adopted child the woman, Molly and Audrey (Rules of Engagement), find out they are pregnant.

Spoilers!

I did watch M&M series finale(actually still watch the reruns daily.. still)

Rules of Engagement never really caught on with me. Still now, only catch a rerun about 1 time a month if nothing else on, then even then it's seems to be the same 5 episodes. Never did see the finale. So thanks. Now I wont have to watch it. LOL

King of Queens ended that way too.

The only reason to watch Rules of Engagement was Patrick Warburton. I always wondered why he wasn't in more things.

Patrick Warburton was on the show "Crowded". It only ran for 13 episodes in 2015 but I liked it.
