Anyone tried it yet? Just got an email though this is probably old news. Smile2 About time! Haven't flown ROF for a while, though I'll always come back. It's too good to leave for too long. Nice one 777! thumbsup

Last night I dragged three DV's all over the sky. Then once I'd got bored with them, closed the throttle and dived the Se vertically from 2000m to the deck without raising a sweat. Left the buggers standing. smile

Yeah, happy days! The way it should be....now the 'ace maker' it should have been from the off. The only thing that saved the AI was my crap severely out of practice gunnery lol; it'll come back though. It's like having a new plane. smile Is it just me or has there been more lateral stability introduced? Seems to be a far more stable gun platform now than I recall (and as it was reputed to be)......Don't know if I'm imagining this either but roll seems to be slightly reduced? Not disputing it though if true, feels right to me. I like! It's so long since I've 'flown' the thing though, I may well be talking out of my arse.

From what I remember reading the new flight model takes a lot into consideration and the roll rate isn't really reduced, you just have to use more rudder like they had to IRL. She'll still roll well you just have to fly her a little differently is all. smile

Yes Avatar, agreed having spent a little longer with it (above assessment was literally a 10 minute one lol). It's the amount of rudder deflection needed that is the key difference it would seem. Very happy overall. The FFB effects are different with the G940 too, for the better (less aileron spring resistance) I'll buy an Aldis for it now, I stopped flying it entirely because I was too annoyed with the engine issue. Good stuff. biggrin

NOTE: I've lost all my bloody medals, trophies, the lot!! LOL!! Any one else getting this? Err, Jason mate, any chance of getting them back? Worked virtually hard for em. biggrin The stats have reset completely and been wiped out too, not really that arsed about that though. I think it might be to do with the new leaderboard system thing being implemented? Would like my medals back though.

EDIT: FALSE ALARM....It was just me being a plonker lol, I had signed in with a new profile I couldn't remember making.....that's why everything was blank. Never mind....all is well. Daft bugger that I am. hahaha

That will bleed more energy, of course, but the previous SE5's roll rate was a little too crisp and fast for a WW1 scout. That's just my impression, but I really like the new one.
