Alright, so what's your favourite bit of Star Wars music? We've had discussions on everybody's favourite movie of the sixology But never about the music, as far as I can recall.
My favourite, apart from the obvious main theme and Imperial March, is the music that plays when Luke walks out of his uncle's house after having seen the hologram from R2. This here, especially from 0:30:

My top 10,
1. The Imperial March
2. The Asteroid Field
3. Duel of the Fates
4. Princess Leia's theme
5. The Final Battle
6. The Magic Tree
7. Dark Deeds
8. Cant remember the track title but I believe it's the "Throne Room". The choral music that starts after Luke attacks Vader in ROTJ.
9. Battle in the Snow
10. Battle of the Heroes

Too much great stuff to choose from, but the clip in the first post here is certainly representative of what I love about John Williams' Star Wars music (and just about everything else he has done for film).
Probably Binary Sunset here as well. I'm not that much of a fan of the Imperial March, although I'll acknowledge that it's an outstanding theme. I will admit to liking Duel of the Fates at the risk of sounding clich though.
"He's not just a regular moron. He's the product of the greatest minds of a generation working together with the express purpose of building the dumbest moron who ever lived."
All good songs mentioned, I agree with Imperial March. I like the music in this final scene in episode V, real Star Wars atmosphere.
And then of course the music in the cantina scene!
I will ignore all ideas for new works and engines of war, the invention of which has reached its limits and for whose improvement I see no further hope.

That, i remember the first time i saw it at the cinema with a mate and the music that went with that part was really cool, really suited the scene well.We were like..yeh smash him!
Back in the 80's I would have said the Imperial March. After the release of Episode I, I have to say Duel of the Fates.

Yep. I get shivers down my spine every time at 0:44. So beautiful!

"Yoda's Theme" is another great track.
It's quite obvious that John Williams was heavily influenced by Richard Wagner when he scored the original Star Wars films.

I wonder if the SW Holiday Special will ever come out on bluray?
