Anyone aware if there is a way to make the mouse pointer disappear after a few seconds of inactivity? It's always there, like a fly on my monitor and I'm sick of having to try to move it off screen.

Could you use F10 to toggle it to Mouse Look but then not use it? I think the pointer goes for that.

Thanks, that is a possibility that I haven't tried (TrackIR would still work, I presume), but I still need to use the virtual cockpit from time to time. Perhaps I should pop over and suggest it as a feature for a future update on the banana board. That should be a simple thing to implement.

I find I need to leave it off to the side of the screen as if I use f10 to remove the pointer my mouse then works like a viewing device, so if I bump it my veiwpoint changes, I haven't found a way to remove the pointer from screen and not have the mouse work this way, it may be because there is no proper TIR5 profile for this game?

This is definitely something that could use attention I believe. I was moving it off screen too, but then sometimes it would end up hovering over some instrument in my cockpit and give the pop up readings as I turned my head. Highly annoying.

The F10 thing is working out better for me, as I don't actually use the virtual cockpit much once I'm actually flying, but it does get wonky when I bump my mouse. It would just be a lot better if it just hid the pointer, which is a pretty standard thing really and I'm surprised it doesn't do this now.

Good thread, I've been bothered with this myself. Didn't know about F10 so I'll look into that, thanks. On a similar note, is there anyway to get the small throttle icon/icons to go away? I have a big lump on my desk which does a good job of indicating my throttle setting so the little icons are not really wanted.

Yeah, you can close those the same way you would close a text window (alt-click or maybe alt-rightclick, I believe, but don't recall specifically).

The cursor would be less annoying if it weren't a big arrow/finger, maybe just a small black cross "+"
