Please, please, please let these be really really good. I'm getting too long in the tooth to wait around several more decades for what I've always wanted.

Combine it with TrackIR and it's potentially heaven, cost is immaterial (within reason).

No reason you couldn't use TrackIR with it I'd imagine.
I don't even want to TRY to imagine the headache something like that would give me.

Question is...

Do you guys do EVERYTHING with the HOTAS? Otherwise it's a bit cumbersome impossible to use the keyboard if you can't see it... frown

Or is just me?

Honestly I do a lot with the profiles I created on my Warthog, but can't do all. I still need to press quite some on the keyboard.
I can't see that happening with the visor on the face.

Still is really sweet. Must be great with Kinetic. --> Lawnmower man anyone?

How often do you need to flash your landing lights when pretty much the entire virtual world does not give a damn about it?

You only use keyboard for flashing landing light? Awesome then! Much better man than I am!

Did anybody notice that the customer sounlded like a typical morning radio DJ? I kept expecting him to break out with a morning news update, or announce the next medly of "oldies"

Didn't realize there were 80 threads started about this already, lol... For those too lazy, heres my reply from peppergomez's thread:

720p is actually pretty damn good compared to some(most) other offerings out there. I think 720p, presented in this format, wouldn't look too shabby at all. I'm still waiting on the Carl Zeiss Cinemizer HD to release before I pick a vendor to purchase from, but I am SOOOOO onboard with this technology.

As for TrackIR, there's no reason it couldn't work. It only relies on the sensor and head piece, not the monitor.

As a matter of fact, I just had a meeting with google about the issue and saw this:

WANT.

EDIT - ^^720p by the way.

I want direct link brain implants with perfect life size images and resolution, tactile sensations, smells, sounds, the whole shebang. You should have to wear a G-suit while flight simming. When they have that, I'll upgrade.

Cheers!
