yep. I have stutters for the first time. As far as I can tell it seems to be an ati card problem. but not universal. Puzzling.

Try setting your FPS Limiter to 50 or 60.

Did that Luke, in fact that was already set. Also defragged drive, turned everything to off or low (got down to 6% video memory usage, vsync on/off, windowed/full screen etc. etc. no joy for me.

Awesome patch so far. Purchased my mod for S7, upgraded the sim, fired it up, normalized Le Chretian site to my default cockpit view and off I went! Very nice plane this S7. I have absolutely NONE of the stutters some are mentioning. Smooth as silk!

My system info:

Asus motherboard (Intel X58 chipset)
6 Gig DDR3 RAM
Intel I7 920 at 3.6 GHZ
GTX 580
Intel SSD Hard Drive
Dell U3011 Monitor
Win 7 64 bit Ultimate

Using an ATI 5970 with Crossfire enabled and EVERYTHING maxed out in ROF except for AA which is set to X4 instead of X8.

FPS limiter set to 60.

Smooth as glass and awesome to see.

11.8 drivers.

Skids are for kids!

11.8 came out recently. No issues with any stutters using the 11.8 drivers and the new patch on a ATI 5870.
