LOL

Could a Cessna even make it to Germany from Florida on a full fuel load?

Nope.

I take it you mean that kind of Cessna.

If you vaporise the Cessna using the world's smallest nuclear explosion, then you may be able to get some of the particulate debris carried over in the jetstreams... so it is possible! Just not all of it. And not all of it in the same place at once.

If you lower your standards enough, there are always possibilities!

They could still ditch and float there. So technically..yes!

Ok, so I'll ask another way... How did the N numbered little green plane get there? Did it belong to a U.S. soldier stationed in Germany and it was shipped over or what? I know motorcycles and cars get shipped all the time but what about a personal plane?

I try to do this daily in IL-2: Cliffs of Dover but die horribly... The lucky buggar managed to pull it off in real life! A bit of skill that.

Alaksa - Russia - Europe... I'd rather go that way than Canada - Greenland - Iceland -

With ferry tanks I suppose you could do anything..they allow you to be stupid for much longer durations..

Quite a few GA aircraft in Europe are flying on a US registration, largely to bypass some laws here in Europe.

Yep. Cheaper maintenance, and some different license regulations compared to JAA regs. You have to have an FAA license to fly an N-regged plane.

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!
