Until I save enough money to buy my own country, create a democracy and purchase a real F16 for myself.

I guess I'll keep playing it until a) A new F-16 sim comes out, say Falcon 5... Hard to bet on that, but who knows. b) A combination of new Windows/graphic card/drivers finally creates an unsolvable incompatibility problem. Hope this first happens soon and the second happens later.

When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

Until another sim comes out with the in depth fidelity of Falcon + a decent dynamic campaign engine at least on par with Falcon's I won't even consider switching. DCS A-10 looks really great, and the fidelity is superb. But the lack of dynamic campaign is a huge deal breaker for me. Falcon FTW!!!!

Falcon is a classic case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. And its parts are excellent!

I don't fly as much as I used to but I keep picking up missions in my latest campaign. More and more I have to refer to the manual for info and have to shoot a few landings beforehand but that's OK. I still get a chance to help out a local friend that get interested too, good fun!

I'm a big DCS fan, but I still go back to F4A4 pretty regularly. I see myself playing F4AF for a long time to come ... as long as my PC/ HOTAS lets me and I can get all my honey-do's done! And I haven't even played a multiplayer campaign yet!

I have flown FalconAT, Falcon3.0, Falcon4.0, FalconAF as well OpenFalcon...
Being a die hard, I have not removed F4AF from my system even though the crew I fly with have moved to IL2 and DCS and SteelBeastsPro. Somehow Im not willing to let go of her even though there are others that are younger and easier on the eye. Im a bit old fashioned I guess, to a fault. For that matter, I still have LB2 and every version of LOMAC running too.
Maybe DCS will come out with a F16; but even still, without a dynamic campaign engine and theaters that matter - F4 is one of a kind. A classic.

Well said AV8R. I feel the same. Still have AF loaded and it's still the only "game" I spend time with whenever I can get anyone to fly online with. All other games are a flash in the pan.
