I started work on a external Campaign Editor for an FalconAF. The aim is to facilitate the construction of a set of files necessary for the creation of their own set of campaign without the necessary knowledge of the internal structure of component files.

The program is pre-alpha version and requires much more work to be finished. I am interested in information that will interest among players in having such a tool.

Before starting read the Readme.txt, please.

Comments and suggestions are welcome smile

But seriously, I really do not have a comment?

Perhaps all serious Falcon AF flyers are on vacations, but you have my congratulations for work done (or perhaps to be more precise ...work started). Download from Rapidshare works , but it takes little time for the server to respond with file.
I have downloaded the editor and will take a closer look , however unfortunately I am not that familiar with campaign in AF. Still congratulations and praise to Piorun for sticking to the project at hand until finish. Today , when tallented developers and programmers are in such a shortage for simulators like Falcon4 all efforts counts double, or triple, or .... even more.

Thank you very much for your kind words. WinkNGrin

But I'm looking particularly at these critical remarks and proposals for expansion.

If there were some very annoying bugs that can remove them immediately.

Hehe, I meant the download worked. Haven't gotten into the actual program yet.

Totally agree Polak...anyone working to keep Falcon alive has my appreciation and respect.

I do not understand - the editor does not emit that text.
Can you write something more?

Howdy Piorun

Im about to release a Modded 2011 Database/Campaign for red on blue. Its 12 weeks in testing/dev.

Im interested because its hard to win a rolling fire with the the default victory conditions.

So im very interested.

@BraveDave - you should first unzip the downloaded ZIP file to any location on the disk. Then you can make firing the application.

Of course you must have already installed the Falcon 4.0 AF.

I'm sorry but for pre-alpha version is not worth the create self installed package.

@ShadowVonChadwick - But I do not know when the scripts editor for save?.tri be realized ?

While the specialty will not be a problem, allowing state management of arms can give wild results in the campaign. So I'm not sure whether to allow any set of 600 fields of ammunition available makes sense? I suspect that the players soon began to use nuclear weapons. wink

I unpacked it to the desktop. Its in a folder there. I also had one on the desktop by itself. both do the same thing. I have had F4 AF installed for 5 years now. I even got a copy of the editor from a friend I fly with. It works on his machine with the same OS as mine, but will not work on my machine.

@BraveDave - I think that the desktop is not the best place in the working directories for storing data and programs. On a desktop better seat shortcut icons to objects that reside on disk, not necessarily on the C: drive.

Please unzip the zip file into a directory called, eg X:\CampEdit\ (must be no spaces in the name). It should appear there CamEditor.exe object about the size of 4892 KB (blue icon). Make a shortcut on the desktop and run from the shortcut.

Show me please the PrtSreen unpacked directory (only folder window - but without the browser whole picture because waste of space).

If you are still problems - it's sorry, you'll probably have to wait until the beta version that should be distributed with the installer.

Good luck - Piorun.
