I've just found this old sim on my shelf, and am trying to get it working on a new Win7 x64 machine. Is there a way to get the game to run in 1920x1080? It isn't listed in the screen resolutions in TSHv4, and just selecting the "use current resolution" option doesn't seem to work.

Best I've been able to do is 1280 x 1024.

I suggest 1680x1050 on a widescreen monitor with the widescreen pit exe of course, look up in the neighbouring thread. Works perfect and looks best, with just a couple of unimportant nuances on the HUD.

Cheers,
Dirk.

Do you mean the "same as desktop" option? Because there is no "use current" option. The other option would be "res. in game", which does something different.

FYI, most users find that even with the bigger HUD fonts enabled, 19200x1200 does not offer a legible HUD. As Drik suggests, 1680x1050 might be more suitable anyway.

Same as desktop, for me, crashes to desk top. I've tried each setting, and the one that works, for me, is 1280 X 1024. Everything below that works too.

Shoot, 1440x900 is hard to read even on a 24" widescreen.
