I know there is some tecky stuff in the works, a new early spring/late fall terrain also. One thing about SFK42 new armor mods show up just about every month or two. I know there are a couple they are working on at the sukhoi.ru forum but usually they don't get much attention here until they are released with a mission set or campaign.
cheers

i tried to get into that game, but couldn't. seems my computer is too good for it as it only uses 2 cores out of 4.

SF42 doesn't support Multi core CPUs.

Sorry to hear about your experiance with SFK42 johncage. My experiance with SFK42 has been just the opposite of yours. I've had SFK42 for awhile and on several different PC's (from a single core AMD to my present i7) several different video cards (from nVidia to ATI) and on 4 differt OS's (XP/Vista 32/Vista 64 and now Win7) and have never encountered a problem where the original unmodded game wouldn't play, had really bad FPS or looked really horrible. SFK42 has been to me one of those rare games that will work on just about any system, video card or OS. Sure SFK42 has expanded way beyond it's original release and a more powerful CPU/GPU would be highly recommeded now to enjoy all the new work, but even on an obsolete PC (by todays standards) the base game should play very well and look pretty good for a 5 year old game from a very small company.
cheers
