Hey dude good to see you dude, I wondered where you'd wondered off to. Cheapest, not sure I got my S14 copy through my steam account, though how exactly I can't remember. Also be advised you might want to make up a bogus account as things may get screwy when the NA version is released. There is a thread somewhere that gives you step by step insructions.

I had pre-ordered mine from Ubistore back in January when the release date was "March 22". Heh. I have learned - NEVER pre-order! After a couple more release date delays I cancelled my Ubistore order.....then tried to get my money back. After many emails and much aggravation my refund came through.

Took advice from this forum and ordered from Justflight.com. Their server was slow as molasses -- better to download from Steam's much faster server, then use the Justflight activation number to get things going. As mentioned earlier, you need to give a UK address or else you'll run afoul of the July 19th release date for the Americas.

For all the glitches and missing features, CoD runs well on my system and is a fantastic "skirmish -dogfighting" sim.

If you do buy it via JustFlight but not in the UK then don't forget you can just use the serial number they give you in the order to download directly from Steam (Steam - Games - Activate Product menu) - it'll be a lot of faster, even if your internet connection is 'ok', i.e.

I'm just referring to other forum members' reports that if you've recently downloaded CoD via justflight and used a North American address, the sim won't activate until July 19. If you supply a UK address the activation number you get will work immediately.

I never ran into this problem when I did my justflight CoD download 3 months ago using my correct Canadian address. My sim activated immediately back then. Presumably justflight "got the word" not to supply European activation numbers to North American purchasers.

Sorry dude I can't remember how to download the russian version through steam, might wanna start at 1C,not sure. I went back and looked at the past 70 pages or so and could not find it, a search might be helpful. Avi might know, he may be talking to you in code, all on the hush hush you understand. Of course you have to promise to buy the NA version once it's out, support the sim you understand.
