MPH is roughly half of KPH. Not sure on the true break down but its close to 1 MPH = 2.25 KPH so if your showing 120 KPH it close to 65 mph.
Same goes with meters to feet. 3.2 feet to a meter or somewhere close to that, so if your at 3000 meters your some where around 9200+ feet.
If you don't like me, You can do one, of two things, deal with it, or get the heck out.

Just do what I do and fly British planes. I've never been a one for those damn Krauts anyways. Damn bastards. It's more fun to watch them fall outta the sky. All the British planes have their instruments in Imperial units.

Fly by your ears - the sound of the air tells your speed... Cheers Keith Especially if you stick your head out the side of the cockpit at 120mph - man, I love Track IR.

I haven't got any RFC planes yet, but it's good to hear they use 'proper' instrumental measurements. I should say so! Royal Flying Corps using that Johnny Foreigner metric rubbish? Good God man! - Perish the thought, it's simply not cricket, what?! Right, I'm off for a quick tincture or two to stiffen the old resolve before the next sortie. Toodle pip! Unfortunately, even if you fly solely British aeroplanes, when it comes down to planning your waypoints etc on the briefing map, some stupid twat keeps putting all the heights/speeds etc in metric foriegn gibberish!

Good point that man! Aircraft instruments in Imperial and waypoints etc in foreign doodads? Simply won't do. Something ought to be done about it. See to it, there's a good chap. Joking aside though, would it entail a lot of work to have an option in the settings somewhere to choose between metric and imperial instead of having to use conversion tables. Just a thought.

Oh that's just great, eh? So in the plane (sorry - aeroplane, Mr Bader ) the instruments make sense, but on the map screen it still retains the other measurements? Come on, 777 - pretty much every other sim under the sun has this option. Next patch, pretty please? Either way, expect an ICE order and/or a rather large haul of aeroplanes very soon. Edit: Thanks to all the guys for the conversion help, but I really can't be bothered - besides, I hate anything involving figures apart from figures with many 0s coming my way, or the other type of 'figure'.

Yes, I'd like the simple instruments to have an imperial/metric toggle, it doesn't sound like a difficult thing to do.
