If you head over to SAS, they have a mod pack called Dark Blue World (DBW) that is optimized for off line players only. It's made to put over top of UP 3, so you will need it first. The 1.1 installment of DBW includes the AI updates (more realistic behavior, AI overheat, sniper gunner fix, etc) and a whole lot more...

Unfortunately the "MOD" scene is divide in various "taste", SAS is one these...
Sokol1 Right, but if you are SPECIFICALLY interested in OFF LINE play and don't care about on line, then DBW is the right (and in fact ONLY) flavor made just for you.

No, it isn't. It (UP) uses the SAS switcher as it's normal startup file so you have the ability to swtich between stock, UP, DBW, HSFX(?) and whatever else.

Hi Kodiak, it’s good to see that you're still flying. SAS is a web site that hosts mods that you can download to make your game better. They have a lot of good stuff over there. If you’re not using some of the latest mods in your game, you don’t know what you’re missing IMHO. Hey bro, I'd like to fly with you again sometime. I am in a new squad called Aces High and we fly every night from about 8:00 to 11 or 12:00 EDT. There are some of the old guys that flew JF-18 in the squad too. AD2 and Gatling gun have been having a blast flying with us and I think you would too. We have about 30 active members and on most nights there are at least about 20 of us on-line. There's even more on campaign nights. I always thought you were an exceptionally good pilot and I always liked winging with you. We fly Ultra Pack 2.01.
