If you are right Dano that seems like an odd decision. It there in black and white if you care to read the patch release thread on the 1c forums. Steady Tiger! Not my fault the lazy OP didn't link his sources. Did you want me to mow your lawn too? Only if the sound cuts out after 20 minutes. (Too soon?)

Actually, I think the 20 minute sound cut out in MP was an undocumented "feature" of the Hotfix patch in response to a write-in request by my wife...... Sorry, everybody!

Quick update after trying latest official patch (through STEAM) for about 45 mins on single player only. By far the best performance improvement I have had on my rig, now playing more or less smoothly on all high settings, although I have not tried over london yet and I suspect it will be a different story there. These flights have had about 30-40 a/c on the go and in combat... All of the things that got broken in the last beta patch have been fixed, airfield clutter, smoke, flames etc all back. My radio commands still mostly don't work but thats still an improvement because mostly not is better than never ever I have to head off to work now so testing over but for me its seems like a good thing.... so far anyway.

I just loaded up the game for a quick test in single player and found out...
You still cant change loadouts or convergence or fuel levels (Luthier said this was fixed)
The AI was still rolling and diving like a F-16
i chased down 2 spits and opened fire to find they didnt react at all to my fire.
after coming into land my wingman decided to crash next to me on the runway.
this was just a 10 min quick test... frown
Yeah, same here, not impressed at all with their prioritising. We have all of the above serious bugs and many more, not to mention the FM issues and the missing sound in MP. Well at least the radioman's cabin in the BR. 20 is finally fixed... er Yippee I suppose the fact that the devs are working on and releasing patches at all is a good sign. Also the 109E1 is at least a very nice bonus. When I compare the current versions performance to the UK release version it is a totally different and much, much better. See I can be positive.

As long as they don't fix the Stuka I'm happy. Best damn fighter in the game! 8) H

I am impressed by some of the things they seem to be trying to do with the AI (very useful if they ever did add an offline career mode). . . that said, from what I've seen so far, Cliffs of Dover is still not on my buy list.

And cant wait to see what this is going to do for the US release.
And does anyone else think 90% of the release notes look like fluffing? OK, it is now pretty much confirmed. You are not a supporter of this sim. Fair enough, you are of course in your right not to be. Just don't pretend to be.

Yep more fluff from luthier, he's good at it though, he must spend most of his day with his fingers crossed behind his back. Good mates BKHZ and Tree have their routine down pat.

Hey we have MP chat smileys and now broken parts of aircraft fall at the right rate. = your typical, malicious, CoD-hater patch evaluation. As if we don't have enough of those from all those other "I lived a perfect charmed life where everything else worked faultlessly until CoD came along"-types. = An actual fair attempt at evaluating the patch, without the nauseous hater-subtext... Thanks Wayner for actually being informative. Much appreciated by someone who is away from his gaming computer for the next good while.
