Will I be able to play as a soldier as well, or only operate tanks? Will tanks have upgradeable weapons like the planes, I hope they remember to put the power ups low enough that I can reach them With my tank! tigers didn't do very good jumps from what I have read Maybe you have to pull of some sort of special move like they did in the A team movie, that will be so rad to the max! Yup I am excited
The problem with the World is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I would be really disappointed if the tanks could only jump. It would just seem not fair. I'm for wings for tanks and ships once you've upgraded. They'd need additional special moves to get real planes off their sixes though, would be cool if ships could make air-powerslides and fire broadsides at pursuers. Yep, I'm excited too MAC

Have you seen the A Team movie Mac? They model the moves perfectly in it, from memory they shot down a couple of the planes as well, it was very realistic! Haven't seen any of the ship powerslides though, must be keeping them secret. This is going to be awesome, if only they let you play as a soldier as well, because that is the best way to get good stats, get the plasma sniper rifle and go spawn camping, it saves you from having to fly around to get the powerups, hopefully I can join nuggets clan!

Oh boy, this gets better and better. A plasma gun? Fantastic! Talking of footsoldiering, I'm all for handphasers and beaming when the going gets tough. Beam me out Scotty! Now if that doesn't all sound like fun then I don't know what is! MAC

Hey Craig, It's actually real good to drop the seriousness that's infested the discussions for a while. Thanks for your good humor. Perhaps we should have some dedicated humor threads in the Gaijin and Cliffs of Dover forum where everyone can make fun of their preferred game and of others, without insults, just to have a good laugh. This could really relax some tensions. Love your idea of the jumping Tiger tanks by the way MAC

Cool as bud, some people take these games far too seriously, the future of the civilized world does not depend on which shade of green the texture artist used for the grass! Anyways my jumping tiger tank will flatten the grass that badly know one will know it's all just a game. Cheers Craig

Your jumping tiger tank is promising a whole lot of that, as is my powerupped powersliding broadside firing flying warship. Keep it up buddy! MAC

This is so much better Tiger, it's going to be like WWII in a fish bowl, perfect for when I have a spare half hour to kill, I won't have to worry about flying for 1/2hr to get some alt, and find a fight, just hit start and zap around the sky blazing away in the fish bowl map. We will have games for all occasions when it is released, when I have a few hrs to get down to the nitty-gritty I can fly the CoD, when I don't have the time or just want cheap thrills it's WoP o'clock damn got to fit ARMA II and RoF in there as well... Wife will be pissed Craig

Yeah, il-2 in a fishbowl with lasers jumping tanks, and pretty lighting filters. I don't have a problem with that, I used to play starwars rogue squadron, and BF1942 had a lot of fun with them, good games, nothing wrong with producing a light weight sim, they have their place, and are great for getting kids interested in the genre, especially if they can have a bit of easy fun doing it! I just hope it works well with a gamepad, that is the preferred weapon of choice these days it seems Cheers Craig

Not at all, I am very happy with the performance of CoD, since the release of the first patch it has played very well with settings pretty much maxed out, the issues that it does have are being slowly but surely resolved! I currently have logged about 130hrs on CoD, with maybe about 5 of them messing around with setup, all good and getting better! I have high hopes for this game as well, WoP will be fun for a different reason, sort of like world of tanks, light weight WWII themed shootemup! A game where I can just switch off and not have to think too much about it. Heya nuggsy are you going to start a squad, ya should, it will be awesome, you could get raaid as your 2ic, a real force to be reckoned with Can't wait Craig
