Hi,
I have my HOTAS setup OK for DCS-A10. Changed the POV back to Trim functions and am happy with it at present. I printed off the Target software manual and am thinking there is potential there for some of my other sims like FSX, Steel Beasts PE etc. Now if I use Target to make and load a profile for another sim will that screw up my current set up. Is there a way to save what I have before I touch Target? Is there out there a Target profile that I can load into my HOTAS that would replicate what I have now or do I have to take the time to carefully remap every single command to a target profile.

I couldnt find anything that may have been copied onto my computer with either the sim or the Target software.

I would appreciate any help and yes I did read the post earlier saying not to touch the Target program but I would be keen to play around with it if it doesnt stuff up what works now.
Has anyone else gone there yet?

well, afaik the target software doesn't affect the HOTAS unless it is running, so if you wanna play a game that doesnt need a target profile just turn the software off and it should be the problem. I haven't actually tried it though so i cannot swear this is the case wink

The HOTAS Warthog will still be setup up the same way you have it now. Everything is saved in DCS. You can build a profile in Target for FSX, etc and when you fly or play those sims you just use Target. When you want to return to DCS, don't launch Target and everything will be back to normal in the Warthog.

Yup the Warthog is absolutely ideal for A-10, had mine for a few months now and it's fantastic.

Just bought the Saitek combat pedals but haven't had a chance to try them yet though they look the part. Toe brakes will take some getting used to after my RCS pedals.

I love my warthog since taking the plunge a few weeks back, nothing made sense with my last control setup because I never knew what was important to map to my controls and what wasn't. With the warthog everything just came together easy, targeting and everything else just came good real quick.

Always happy to see positive reviews on the WH. Love the PnP feature on DCS too!
