All be aware Super sampling is a killer on even the best systems.
I have a 4 gig i7 and 480GTX Sli'd system. Even with that I struggled with modest AA and AF turned on.
I could only get a decent fps with both AA and AF disabled.

For now I'm leaving Super Sampling well alone.

It's amazing how slow you can fly with the Breguet if you're careful. What a difference compared with the DFW C.V. Very easy to land too, even deadstick landings.

Lads, aye I was horrified at my FPS too on a GTX580, leave SS alone chaps lol. I'm thinking we might get better results with Nvidia Inspector and Sparse Grid Supersampling set low. Remains to be seen, speculation and will do testing later. Loving the new coolant and engine damage effects! They are a real giveaway of positition now, more so with increased view distance.

Going to get some scran and will try career later, Breguet is a Lady, beautiful instrument set up too. Just leveled a factory with her hehe, top fun.

Excellent loving the career mode; reminds me of Red Baron circa 1989, but with ever so slightly better graphics, so mission accomplished

It looks like this is everything I wished for, and more. Best of all is that my old pc can handle the career missions I was afraid they would be too complex and I would get the slow-motion syndrome, but it runs just fine.

My classic moment for today: seeing those signalling flares over the aerodrome as I RTB'ed from a dusk bomber mission in my HP 0/400. This is one of those features that put me "right there".

Been having fun with Career too, just completed 3 sorties. I am zee redoubtable Emmanuel Mangin! Never imagined I'd enjoy being French.... Flying a Noop 11 in 1916 and have bagged 2 Albie DII's and a DFW. The DFW kill was epic, I took on 2 of them solo after losing my flight (few AI flight route oddities noticed) over Boche lines when they were returning to base.....at about 1000ft with Archie flying all over the shop. Magnifique!

I actually care whether he lives or dies, which makes it far more fun heheh. Getting quite into character. Got slightly wounded by one of the DFW's and I was bricking it lol. Reckon I'll be devastated if he buys the farm.
