Hi,

Can someone tell me how the pedals work ?

I know about the movement of the pedals changing the pitch of the tail rotor blades etc.

What I need to know is:

If you push the right pedal forward in a hover, which way does the aircraft rotate ?

Cheers,

Andy

Yes, depressing the pedal alters the amount of thrust being put out by the rotors. They work similar to the pedals on a fixed wing aircraft in that they change the direction the nose is pointing. Depress the right pedal, and the nose swings right, the left and the nose swings left.
