This is my daughter's dog, Mossey. He is a Devonshire dog who came to live up here in Derbyshire.

Pictured last November when four and a half years old.

Awesome pic.

My old dog used to love snow. Back when she was alive we had a parking lot across from the house I owned. She *had* to be the first one out in it to make tracks. When she saw that it was snowing she would race to the front bedroom to see the parking lot. Then she would race to where I was and start dancing about. If I didn't pay attention she would get under my desk and push my wheeled office chair with me in it towards the stairs. Basically you just had to go.

We would go out and she would drag me to the parking lot and then dance around/roll around the parking lot making all her tracks. After a while she would survey the parking lot to check her work, decide she'd done a good job, look up at me with those big dog smiles and back to the parking lot and then decide we could go home.

Very strange dog.

DOOOOGGGGIEEEEEEthread biggrin

ok, here is proof that dogs and water go together very well too biggrin

our two doggies, Lara (cream coloured Goldie) and Faye (black half Goldie half Lab), during a recent outing to a small lake in Vienna;
Lara loves to dive and pick up usually large stones, I just need to pay attention because she drops them right in front of my feet, and sometimes onto my feet as well biggrin

Lara

and Faye

as you can see, Dogs and water go together really well too.....

Sounds like my pal Hannibal. This is typically how he looks when he comes inside, whether it's from rain or dew in the tall grass out back.

Two of the other 3 don't mind being out in the rain, but Hannibal actually seems to enjoy getting soaked.

My parents dog would always thing that water was the greatest idea ever. Until it touched her butt.
Then she wasn't so enthusiastic any more.

Some lovely pics there chaps! Of course, we all like water. What an invigorating way to let off steam, relieving the pressures of daily life with a romp on the beach or riverbank!

This is Mossey when one year old. Boundless energy and possessive of some racial memory which prompts him to round up any group of dogs he might come across.
