I haven't had that one here. I did get some virus pop ups and got screen captures and sent them to Doug. He blocked the url's pretty quickly. I haven't had any problems since.

Guys if you can get any kind of URL address I'd appreciate it.
Also, which browsers and versions are you using?

Also, which browsers and versions are you using? At home I'm using IE 9. I'll grab the URL next time it happens and send it to you.

I am using IE 9 at home too. I didn't get a url because it just closed my browser totally and popped up with the fake explorer like when I go into my computer.

Anyone had any occurrences today? Please post in here if you do. We did some stuff that should help (blocking specific sites, etc.) I want to make sure everyone understands this is coming through the 3rd party ads, and not via SimHQ files or our direct advertisers. Yes, I wish we didn't have to depend on 3rd party ad revenue to keep doors open either.

We know it's not your fault. I know you were quick to respond when I had those couple of pop ups a few weeks ago. From what I can see, it only happens on IE 9 based on what I read above.

From what I can see, it only happens on IE 9 based on what I read above. I have IE 8 at my work computer and it has happened to me there as well.

I've had a few of these Warnings - here are some screen shots from yesterday and today. The URL is in the address line in IE. Wrecking Crew These were from yesterday (19-Apr-2011) and I think this address is now blocked - This is from today, with a different address / URL -

I got this yesterday on this very website, closed the browser and ran MS security essentials no problems I knew it wasn't real because in My Computer I have 2 HDD's and 2 DVD ROMs and a Virtual, it didn't show them.

Catch any more of the URLS? I haven't had any more incidents for a couple of days now.
