Here a short presentation of the Do 17 bomber as it appears in IL-2 Cliffs of Dover:

The bomb explosion graphics are impressive;

It would have been really cool, if one of the Dornier's crashed in Kent, and then you could have blended in the recent footage of the Dornier, found in Kent. It would have been a really cool narrative.

Sorry, i'm a writer, always looking for a story. thumbsup

Amazing video mate, subscribed.

Very impressive.

I have a Luftwaffe side-cap taken from a Do17 on the south coast.

Lovely video Tinus, merci beaucoup! You got so many lovely little details, well done.

Can you tell me which codec you use when you capture with the inbuilt avi-thingie? And your capture settings? - I cannot really find anything that looks good...

Nice movie.

This is the sort of thing that 1c should have been putting out in the lead up to the release. Instead we got half arsed efforts that just annoyed people.

Good question - how do you get that effect? It looks like a free camera mode, but CloD is unaccountably lacking a free camera as far as I can tell.

Maybe taxi past the row in another aircraft having CTRL-F1'd to get rid of the cockpit and dials?

Tinus, that is really impressive mate!

The bomb exmplosions look awesome. One thing which I think is missing is longer shadows (or even shadows?) for the explosions. I'd imagine the smoke would reach quite high, so one would expect to see long shadows at this time of day, which would look exactly like bomb-camera footage from the war.

I loved the bit when the Dornier got it's engine shot off, details like that are really impressive.

Very nicely done. The bombs exploding on the ground do look very impressive.
