If all their dreams come to fruition then this would make one damn fine looking combined ops sim WWII style! BoF and North Africa would be fantastic!

The problem with the World is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I have to say, that was pretty darn impressive, for a flight sim.

I've watched the red Maddox sports car constantly crash into buildings..and I've seen big Bus and Army truck pile ups...well sort of they just keep bumping into each other...the pathing at some point in the future will need looking at I'm sure...

Hmmm, I was going to say that I think you're right, but the heavy damage smoke (the one for the oil-refineries) looks like it's at a much steeper angle than the other smoke-plumes, so clearly something is amiss here. If the wind-element was taken into account, which would be awesome, one would assume the heavier smoke would be at a steeper angle still than the other smoke-plumes, which wouldn't be realistic.
I hope it's looked into, but it's nothing major at present.

Very negative and unnecessary quote from this Axel40 guy: taz

Primary reason for armoured elements in the Il-2 flight sim is for aircraft targets; better graphics make better simulation.

Congratulations to Maddox Games for these excellent ground objects graphics! burnout

I am sure they meant for the vehicles to be driveable at some point otherwise why the vehilce axis setup in controls section?

What would be the primary reason for them in a Battle of Britian scenario?

Of course, but Barbarossa is primarly a ground offensive with air support, no ? the fact that these tanks are so nicely modeled is not a problem per se and would have been perfect if (or when) a Battle of France would have been set...now the primary objective of the sim, unreached till now,IMO, is to have a (very)good SP campaign and a historical recreation of the units and the(air)operations .

Yeah, that would be awesome. As you can also map "Reload" and "Use Object", I just can´t help thinking of the full scale battlefield scenario (that can last days ;))...

FFS, lighten up Francis.
