Hi guys I like this mod, only thing is I start my mission on the ground in my F4F-3 and it explodes in the hangar? This happens with all the Wake Intercept missions? I even changed to start in the air via options and it still starts off in the hangar and the aircraft explodes..... deadhorse

I assume you mean this camo bunker? This is from 411211 Carl Davidson, no problems.
Some do start from open field. Are you having trouble with those also?

Big,

Trying to determine if it's the Shelter2 or the ground. PR had trouble with the ground early on.

Can you taxi ok on the missions outside the shelter?
Do you have to move to explode?
If you make the player not take off and don't assign an altitude to the first two WPs, it will explode anyway.

Yeah in that mission my aircraft just explodes in that hangar....

Can you pause it before it explodes, go outside and tell me if the wheels are down?

On the missions where you start outside, does the Wildcat taxi okay?

And are the wheels on the visible surface or below it?

Can you pause it before it explodes, go outside and tell me if the wheels are down? Can't pause just explodes on opening screen.... I

see the static F4-F-3's, but they are in a group all damaged looking like a hurricane came through..., but the one static F4F-3 in the

open hangar with no roof is parked nice and the wheels are visible.

sitting right ontop of the surface

Okay. I will send you some things. To see what works. Sorry to put you through this but if I change everything it really isn't fixed. It's either the shelter itself which might be confused with the TW version or the collision mesh...or something else. I have your email of course. Look for it tomorrow. I have to play around to make certain I am sending you the correct stuff.

Just installed RS with SF2V and I have this same problem.

Yes, the one mission with Wildcat in Wake stating on runway is okay (at least the time I tried it), but the one starting inside the bunker is immediately BOOM and you're done. I don't even have time to pause the game or switch to outside view to see what happens, so expolsion occurs pretty much at the same moment mission has loaded.

Grrrr. Okay. I was going to send something to Big today but I am going to try to duplicate it first. I think it's the revetment itself. Somehow something got mixed up with the various iterations of Thirdwire, years of modifications, etc. Since it doesn't happen on ours, it's a stumper.

Are you playing in NORMAL?

Just a lurker here, but I would guess it's something to do with the SF2V files/ meshes.
It Bigstone1 also using SF2V as his base install too?

I hope this is a simple fix. Instead of sending you a file, see if this works.

Open the Terrain > WakeIsland folder.

Find the SHELTER3_COL.LOD

Copy and Paste. The resulting file will be "Copy of SHELTER3_COL.LOD"

Change that file only to SHELTER2_COL.LOD

Then see what happens.
