TheTonester, please edit out your own profanity in the future. Consider this a warning. This is the fourth time I've had to do this today... (and it is an offense under the terms of service).
This doesn't change the fact that swearing can lead to a ban under the forum rules - so my bias doesn't matter, but: I will have you know that Oleg has always acted with considerable cutesy in my experience. He's implemented features that I suggested, has never lied, and has bothered to talk with me on about twenty occasions since he first started visiting the forums in 2000.
His products have also gone well beyond what he needed to accomplish in order to be profitable. In fact, CoD would be doing much better if he hadn't tried to include all of our suggestions (IMHO, the cause of delays, coding issues and the graphics being impossible to max out without a $10,000 rig)

Heresy is fine by me (and the site rules as well - assuming they are in the appropriate forum) - Marconian heretics, Bogomils, Tolstoyans, Sufis - bring them on! I even like talking to those who commit the ultimate heresy in my mind by saying that they are orthodox (ie. "orthodoxy" in general - not the Eastern Orthodox church). However, there are rules here designed to make everyone comfortable, even "Guod". My views on Oleg are irrelevant (although, I do respect him because I've talked to him and watched his work over a full decade - as well as remembering what the sim industry was like prior to Il-2). I'll also have you know that the coloured reading glasses are the result of a genetic condition - I'd appreciate you not making fun of them

it obviously got caesarean'd out at 8 months by either publisher pressure or bad management with a drop dead date. It got caesarean'd out at 8 years, didn't it?
