Does any one have clear images of a US army farp fuel tanker?

Cheers

Thanks Andy,

The HEMTT is definitely the correct fueling truck for Herat. It's a bit over-kill for the target range so for now I'll model one of those towed aviation fuel tanks.

Cheers

Thanks for the links gents. The HEMTT will come some rainy day. The bowser for the range is complete.

Cheers

It's a good way of expanding the use of the CH47, I don't think the scale of the operational area warrants it. Certainly keep it in mind though.

What on earth is a 'Fat Cow FARP'? Sounds like something an 'overweight' lady might get after one-too-many curries! smile

It's a FARP out the back of a CH47, flies, lands and has a car boot sale. Helos come along, land, refuel from Chinook (fat cow). Highly mobile, but cow like.

You can do it with a blackhawk too. Typically you have two chinooks (that means you need an LZ the size of a football field) one will carry the gas for refuel and the FARP team, the other will bring out rockets and .50 cal or 30 MM as well as a security team.
