Game is Jerky, Slow, LOW FPS , Look like some one dumped Wings of Prey on to the IL2 and didn't bother to test it. Great cockpit views but after about 3 clicks.. well ...

I hope we see some major fixes, And Force Feed back added to the game.. They give us 6dof and then take away FFB. Wow... im sure the guys over at Logitech would help add the code.

Game is getting 50 fps out to sea but when you get in to air to air with AI the FPS drop to 40-42.

Good but again choppy...

With out FFB the stick feels Heavy and hard to fly.. So that is dead.. Shadows seem a bit off too.

I got the game tonight...works great! On a single monitor (1680x1050) it is smooth 30-45fps attacking bombers over the ocean on very high settings. In Eyefinity (3306x1680) is it smooth enough (fraps said 16-20fps but it looked smoother to me...odd) to play again attacking the bombers over the ocean. Flying over london was the same framerate but I did not have any other planes in the air with me.

Yep, it strains my system, but I am confident that patches will come out to rectify issues. Complain all you want, it is a game and not a pivotal issue in my life. I like it.

Ive got it, not great at the moment, but certainly way better than you would have had us believe IMO, I have an 8800gt only at the moment and had a 6 v 9 over sea and it was playable, although many of your points were pretty much around the mark you were blasting off in every direction so it was likely you would knock over a few ducks.

Having said that there are quite a few tweaks required to get it to even barely playable on my PC, but as I said an 8800gt 512k is not even supported, the devs though are going to need to work hard to get this to anything like resembling the sort of play we can get with IL2.

Shame really as it will cost them a lot of sales, it's like what happened with ROF which is now quite good fun, but the release was a disaster.

Hopefully people will be patient, no point bagging it too much, we got what we got and can only hope they can get some fixes out pretty quickly, I would think the best thing now is detailed bug reports not random rants about who lied to us and all the rest of the crap.

One headline post against the game - two immediate mod postings shooting it down.
