Nixer:
Devastat just posted this in another thread - doesn't sound good, considering his system.
Guys here is my take on it:
I am so glad I bought this game on yuplay.com today, because I have now cancelled my preorder on Steam and I saved 35 euros of money.
My computer is i7 920 2.7ghz, 12gb ram, ati radion hd5850.First of all, I think this "add a line to conf.ini to remove epilepsy filter" is just a placeb - i do not see ANY difference on the performance. I am 100% I am doing it "correctly" but no effect.
The game runs well when you are flying alone over the canal with other planes in the distance. No problems in fps there. However, when you approach a plane the fps drop down to something that reminds me of a slideshow. Also flying over cities is very uncomfortable, game starts stuttering alot.
Lots of visual bugs in the game, I don't know about the actual gameplay as in current state it is so unplayable that I didn't want to get into that.
I am a bit disappointed to the graphics to be honest. It looks outdated to me (well I just started to play crysis 2, which runs perfect on my machine on 100% gfx settings.) (snip)
According to passmark's benchmark, both his CPU and GFX card achieve slightly higher scores than mine ... getting really pessimistic here.
