OK, explain me this. Maddox et. al. have an epileptic filter in their new sim, but ED has recently released 2 titles without any such FPS-crippling hindrances. How come?
PS. And no, I'm not being snarky. Just curious. A warning on the box is all that's necessary or the usual health guidelines in the instructions. This is convenient excuse for poor code. There is no e-filter. Some people can see through the smoke, others can't. Come on people! It's BS.

Flight Gear Freetrack 6DoF (using TrackIR 3 cam) Saitek Cyborg Evo Force (failed after 6 strong years of service) Saitek X-52 Pro Flight System with Hall Sensor Magnet Mod (flying is good again)

How about an opt-out EULA stating that UBI and 1C are absolved of any lawsuits per injuries if the wrapper is disabled? Hell, if bungee jumping companies can do the same sort of thing, surely a video game company can.
This is like saying everyone needs to do chemo treatments forever cause you may have or sometime develop cancer in your life. Of course, I am being facetious in a way, but c'mon. I'd agree with you there but some lawyer somewhere would argue that somebody other than the purchaser and installer of the game might walk by, look at the screen and be adversely affected by it. They never had the chance to "opt out" and so suffered do to the "ill programed" product. Meanwhile the 'victim' probably smokes 12 packs of cigs a day. /sigh Gotta love lawyers. Hellshade

Its not JUST the performance! Its PERMANENT (something that cant be tinkered from .ini) crippling of features!
Do you love INVISIBLE propellers when viewed from inside of your 109/Hurri? Do you LOVE barely rotating (but really full speed) propellers in external views? No, me neither!
Propellers in ROF are work of art, sadly they are "epilepsy danger" and we wont see anything like them in new IL2. And this is just the ONE feature that is already matched to UBi's epilepsy spec- of course its nothing to do with them (sarcasm).
Ilya only said what he had to say, inside he is seething with frustration and anger at dumb people following black and white rules!!!

OK, so it's a realtime frame by frame analyser through a wrapper?
Shouldn't be too hard to hack out - switch the dll(s) responsible for the analysis out with one that simply does nothing but accept the call and passes whatever equates to 'ok' back.
Or replace the dll that includes the call to the wrapper in the first place with one from the beta.
If you knew what you were talking about it would make sense Mizzy
