Just tried the first shuttle mission but missed my launch window...will the demo allow you to actually lift off if you do everything right?

It was a 2007 release but patched regular to date.Things have progressed to a new version to be released Q3/Q4 2011 with the catchy title of Space Shuttle Mission Simulator 2.

Yes, that's it....I have the demo but after one run through on the available mission it said I missed my launch window. Just wondering if you could lift off if every switch was thrown in time.
