some of the reading in the russian "first impressions" thread makes for horrific reading, by the look of things if you havnt a i7 8gb 570 or above, just forget it.

I will buy it mate of course, just in the hope that in time they will get it fixed and the money generated will allow them to do so. Will I play it then probably not, I cannot imagine how this game will run on 128 player servers when it struggles with just one aircraft, the vids with all the settings turned down look far worse than IL2 ever did. So for now i will keep playing IL2 on the Battle of Britian server which is excellent.

Yeh, because it's a great representitive of those playing it, all two dozen copies that where sold today in Russia have issues and have all posted on one single forum, it couldn't possibly be that maybe more sold than that and they're all happily playing without posting could it?

To be honest Freycinet, you are the yin to their yang. The more you and others like you interact with people like them the more polarised both camps become. The chances of either of side from the "fundamentals" agreeing with each other grows increasingly remote each day.
