Someone pointed out that single GPU mode was faster than SLI mode and Luthier replied with this:
------------------------------ luthier: Producer Sow: BoB Аватар для luthier Address: Moscow ------- Re: Il-2: Battle of Britain - First impressions. ------- In our game there is a wonderful new feature that saves you all from epilepsy. It is made at the request of the Western publishers, Yubisofta.
Since epilepsy is caused by a rapid flashing of the facilities, and flight simulator is basically a genre of fast flickering objects, the epilepsy caused all: propeller, shooting, explosions, sun, flying airplanes, transportation machines, entry into the hangar, flying at low level, and etc .
Despite the fact that in the old IL-2 it was more an epileptic, new requirements were introduced only last year. We perelopatli entire game because of this unfortunate epilepsy.
The main protivopripadochnaya shell, which is above everything that was done two weeks ago, the total despair. It compares each previous frame with each frame and compares the brightness of the pixel by pixel, and if it is too large, averaging pixels to give pleasing epileptic-limits. This crap brakes at the ground, and does not work with cards SLI. Off with her we can not yet make it optional, too, can not yet.
Without it Yubisoft refused to publish the game.
But as the 1C in general all the same, cause you have a game fits or not, we are urgently looking for a way to cut it all on the Russian version. It is necessary to assure Yubisoftu and give them a check that off in Russia will not allow Western epileptic somehow disable this thing at home.

it would be a shame if it was not allowed as an option on the ubifool published version, Damn they are a pack of assclowns !!
The problem with the World is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

reading these google translations hurts my head, but I don't speak russian, so it's my best bet.
The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine!

Some feedback from Russian forums, excuse the bad translation.
On my I-2500, 8 GB, gtx 460 at the lowest settings, alone on the sea falls to 40 fps and still frizit (maximum 80 FPS in the cabin, the appearance of 88)! I guess you shouldn't say that it is a catastrophe-level graphics seen on your work. Causes of brakes: 1. Bad vidûha. But how is that bad Company 2 works on all maksimalkah with #%&*$#' brilliant FAC and with excellent row/special effects? At the same time flight over water alone without special effects with frankly bad graphics (about land in this mode, I am silent …) may fall to 40fps? 2. Bad proc, and playing a bunch of calculations should be done ... Then why is crammed into the game and didn't cool ništâkov full support for my processor? He loaded the 25% rather than 100%. 3. a terrible optimization for various reasons. But it is not denial. I think somewhere in their reasoning?
Put in the most beautiful picture, fps on average 50, game, play freezes or that it is at minimum. Play is not possible.

I dropped SLI two years ago, as it seem NO DEVELOPER CAN GET IT RIGHT.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

I smell ....Lawyers. Why in the world isn't a disclaimer on the box enough? Warning would have been ok for US/Canada re:ESRB, but in the UK Ubisoft signed up for a voluntary code of conduct to protect people from enjoying themselves without state interference. I might have changed the last bit, but the sentiment is the same.
