My vote goes for weather as well Slingn...I wonder if Oleg has modeled thermals/slope/wave lift etc...It would be wonderful to go gliding...:)

Weather for me too, missions and campaigns can be scripted, weather can't be... now there's an idea! Scripted weather lol

I'd imagine weather is mainly about processing power and implementation, both of which may come with time and further resources...especially if the code-base is already there, at least in part.
A truly dynamic campaign strikes me as a very difficult thing to do, especially to do it well, and I'd imagine (no experience of this) that it would need a high level of integration from the beginning. I could be wrong, but I'd suspect it would be very difficult to do later on, or to complete and also integrate later on.
To me it's a major, major feature (as it is to some others). While I'm at it, people telling me scripted missions are better, or can be better, or will be better, or were better in past instances, is not the same thing. After a while it is just tiresome.
I'd imagine dynamic weather is also difficult to do well, and would have all sorts of implications for the rest of the game engine.
In this case it's lose/lose. How people can put a happy spin or gloss on it, god only knows.

Weather! Dynamic campaign is pretty uninteresting for me I´ve got multiplayer.

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

To me the answer is simple. Weather. if they are going to spend time on one, IMHO, weather is more important.
I don't understand the hoopla about not having a dynamic campaign. The best missions or campaigns I've ever flown were all user made. I see no issue there. Couldn't have said it better. +1.
Cheers!

The game is still going to have 128 players, right? Unconfirmed but possible, might be dialed back a bit if it kills performance I guess, i.e. http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpost.php?p=190275&postcount=317Oh, and as for the topic- Weather, I plan to use SP to get better at MP, rather than expect it to be something I buy the sim for.

Dynamic weather. Remember that water=3 was worth the wait when the hardware caught up!

Campaign.
Weather may not realistically change in a mission that takes an hour or two. But no DC simple means very limited appeal /replayability to offline players. I don't want to refly the same mission three times before "completing the objective" and each time, on waypoint 3 there will be enemy bombers waiting to be intercepted. +1 After I played BoB2, I could never really enjoy a BoB themed campaign in Il-2 anymore, even Compans' (for me) just weren't the same. Don't get me wrong, I can play a campaign in il-2 once and love it to pieces, but after that it just gets (don't kill me for saying this) gamey: 'let's see what happens if I play as red-1 and climb to a higher ceiling, then I can bounce the bombers I know are coming'. Whereas in a DC I am always on the edge of my seat, never really knowing what to expect. Weather is a really important aspect for me as well, but as an offliner, if the stock campaign falls short, I may as well go back to BoB2 for the (mission) experience alone. Conversely, I'm sure SoW will have enough new features to keep me entertained until a DC is released. I'd be happy with either TBH.
