Ok Guys,
I'm, new to these forums, and a little behind the curve, so please don't kill the messenger. To anyone knowledgeable on the subject, I have a few questions, so here goes:
1) When is the release date for US. 2) How much space will be needed for the install. 3) System requirements, min & max. 4) Will this be as an add-on or stand alone version. 5) Given the history of this theater of war, other publishers have had thier hand in it: (Wings of Prey-Gaijin, Limited to only 10 missions, great graphics & Battle of Britain II-A2A, full campaign, very detailed & great graphics). Now for the $99,000 Dollar question: Other than the (Massive multiplayer). Those two are great in their own light, but what will be the biggest difference between this sim, and the two mentioned above.
Thanks all
My World is simple, I answer to the CINC House: My Wife, my Kids, my troops: 2 German Shepherds. I just love Flying Flight Sim's, and driving my 2017 Challenger SRT .

Hope it helps but there are still a lot of unknowns when it comes to this one. We should be getting more information right up to the actual release. The 1C forums are another place to check for information on this one. http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/forumdisplay.php?s=13c2338f6061d86a572d08bc422f32b8&f=189It just got its own dedicated forum. Wheels

1) When is the release date for US. I would think it'll be December of the following year, unless FDR declares war a bit sooner. If you don't mind putting your US citizenship in jeopardy, come on up to Canada and join the RCAF, you'll be flying before you know it.
Cheers!

There will be no comparison with those other sims. IL-2 series was the benchmark in combat flight sims and the new IL-2 Sturmovik series will be the next benchmark. Period.

IL-2 series was the benchmark in combat flight sims Thats simply not true! IL-2 excelled in many areas but was woefully lacking in others. It may have been exactly what you wanted... I expect SOW/COD to exceed BoB II in multi-player, graphics and detail but trail it in single-player immersion and flight model (in terms of 'feel of flight') That said, I live in hope and have had it on pre-order since 2006 Cheers, Keith
