Ive been waiting for the release to spec out my next Gen gaming rig. My current PIV 3.2 system driving a 24" monitor has served my very well, but now its time for something new. So once Cliffs hits the shelves Im gonna start specing new stuff out, since IL2 has always been my main sim.

What I want this time around is to play on at least a 30" monitor at full rez and the horsepower to do it. I don't know what that will take, or if there is a setup that will be able to run it at that size, but thats my goal.

Surround sound this time, of course pedals and one of the latest X-65 or Warthog HOTAS to replace the old X-45. Maybe a Buttkicker to boot.

Cant do it all at once of course, but Im really looking forward to taking full advantage of this new sim.

Anybody else have "plans" for getting into Cliffs of Dover?

I'll jump on this:

1) Clickable cockpits.

2) Realistic start-up procedures

Yes, with the crazy attention to pre-war English wheelbarrows, I look forward to realistic startups.

Has there been any news about the flight model?

I was watching on the discovery channel an episode called war birds, it covered the spitfire, me-109 and hurricane, it was for the anniversary of the battle of Britain. These aircraft where, I presume, meticulously put together and flyable. The pilot went through a start up's on all three aircraft, what surprised me was how long it took, it seemed that the German a/c was easier to start that the British counterparts. But during the height of the BoB, summer of 1940, those British pilots had to get those birds up fast, so their would have to have been some sort of short cuts on the start up's, and the time it took for the intercepts to take place.

Best Regards

I'm hoping there's a way of outputting the flight instruments to a separate monitor in an online-friendly way, without having to mess around like you have to with IL-2. It would be nice to be able to extract certain data from the game too i.e. Landing Gear state, low fuel warning etc.

I'd love to get my hands on a definitive list of assignable commands.

Another one of those questions I've asked in the forum, but was misunderstood. If this engine uses devicelink too, it "just" needs a 'stop transmitting' modifier, when an instrument is destroyed.
