I am left handed but am seirously thinking abot the $300 logiteck flight system or the $150 Saitek x52 system. Does anyone have any thoughts abut using either one of these left handed ?. Nothing really good is avilable for left handed flyers. I am presently using a Saitek Cyborg Evo with fair results. I would like something better and smoother. Any comments will be appreciated.

Regards and Happy Holidays

There is a thread in the hardware forum on this subject. I have X52 and the throttle just will not work in your right hand very well at all.
CH Pro is an ambidextrous stick but is light on buttons and you still have the throttle problem.

What about the thrustmaster T.16000M which is fully ambidextrous. I had never seen it befor.

This probably won't help you, but I couldn't help myself. Do they make Left-Handed Airplanes? bananadance

The same is true for the X52. Neither the stick nor throttle work for lefties.

I have an x52 Pro and it 'should' be used with the stick on the right and throttle on the left.

I think hi-end controllers are all of the same configuration, unfortunately.

Does the F16 support swapping pressure stick and throttle positions?...doubt it and I'm
sure there are many left handed Viper pilots anyway.

Yes, for sure there are lefthanded planes.
At least if you want to be first officer, otherwise it's righty...but then you are not allowed to play with it as much smile
Look at any Airbus, even Cessna has one lefty, the corvalis (former columbia 400)

There are sticks out there that would suit for left or ambi HOTAS setup, but usually they are either too expensive, or too cheap.

..and lead us not into temptation......I'll find it myself.
