I was flying the Noch Nichet campaign and over revved the engine, but managed to glide the Fokker D7 down and do a dead stick landing near a town. What I heard while on descent was the sound of church bells and air raid sirens coming from the town. I managed to land right next to the town, and lo and behold, there was a church right there. Attention to these little things add so much to the enjoyment of this sim, so kudos to the devs for adding this level of detail, even to features that some might consider secondary.

Ya I remember these from the Red Baron days, so its not so much of a wow factor for me anymore. But some of the other stuff that goes on, on the ground is very impressive.

Don't forget the train whistle blowing... Casey Jones if ever I heard him!
