Why, oh why can't I have wads of disposable cash in my pocket??? Oh wait, I forgot....I have 3 kids, an old house, 4 cars titled under my name and an occasional night out with my wife. wink

State Surplus Auction - GAT-1 Flight Simulator

From the website www.govdeals.com there is this surplus genral aviation trainer being auctioned by the Commonwealth of Virginia. The item is located in Richmond, Virginia and since they were made sometime in the 60's it is probably heavy as a tank. A quick stroll through Google leads me to beleive these were designed to be a motion simulator but I would be surprised if they did more than the X/Y axis.

With the auction having just under a week left, I am sure the price will jump above $320 but hey, it may end up being a bargain for some one with a truck to haul it off AND...a pocket full of mad-money.
Have a good weekend!
Derek

That really does not look worn. Even the seat looks new.

It must be awful - if it was any good some of the paint would be damaged!

Check out the external control panel. It has 3 axis movement.

Meh, I'd much rather have the Monza.

Well, I still have the old Monza but since the end price of this auction was a little over $1,100 and was less than what i wanted for that old car.....I would have had enough left to pay for hauling it back to my house.
Sneaking it in past my lovely wife would be more difficult. frown
