I'm re-creating the most important aircraft in Jet Thunder with more up-to-date quality standards. This will apply to cockpits too.

The Gr.3 is armed and dangerous now - I've modeled the SNEB rocket pods which use 19x 68mm unguided rockets, and the 300lt fuel tanks. Also on centerline, there's a GP Bomb.

Next task will be to do the uv-mapping and then add a paint job - the attractive RAF camo used in this campaign - notice that I didn't opened the landing gear doors yet - it's better to do uv-map and painting with them closed, specially a camouflaged aircraft like this, for practical reasons, and then cut them open and do their interior detailing. All this will follow in the coming days.

Good Lord, people! I only have so much money to spend on this hobby. A mortgage, little mouths to feed, and even a REAL airplane to keep flying. A-10, Battle Of Britain, more airplanes for ROF....and now this is coming out soon, too? Stop it, I tell you. Stop It!
I thought flight simming was dead?

Sure it is. So, 12, 14, even 16 hours of work per day have been the norm recently.

Wow. That's just...wow.

You know, even if that were the only flyable, I just don't think I'd mind.

I am sure I wouldn't mind. I might not even notice the other aircraft, as I am most interested in learning this one. There is just something special about taking off from the ship and flying in over the beach.

That said, I think when we all start getting into this, many of us will be interested in trying out the A-4, however.

USN/USMC -- when it positively, absolutely has to be blown up overnight.

I think that will be very interesting to fly all the vectors used in the conflict.I would like to fly the Daggers, the Super Etandard and the A4 too.
Just think about flying thru a barrage of dense Flack to put a bomb on a destroyer, really exciting.(in the game, not in real life,it was very sad actually)

Does the GR.3's nose houses a laser range finder? Will it be modelled in Jet Thunder?

Man,if they put this kind of graphic quality in the cockpits too,we will have a winner for sure.

That is beautiful, if they have the sort of dynamic shadowing we've seen from Oleg in the SoW previews it'll be poetry in motion.

That facebook shot made me go, "WOW!"
I've been wondering what I was going to do for a jet combat sim. Been on the fence about the DCS A-10. Can't say it's not beautiful, but for sixty dollars, you get one airplane (modelled in incredible detail, I know), and one mission. Ground attack, if you don't count popping away at a chopper every now and then. I'm afraid I might grow tired of that, after a while.
FC2 looked like a possibility, but I already have FC1. Is there enough of a difference to warrant buying the second one?
But THIS has me interested. A dual purpose jet. A2A and A2G. Land on the beach, airfield, or a ship! Lot's of bang for the buck.
And what...four or five flyables? I think I just made a decision.

According to their Facebook page on that picture thread, someone asked (on Nov 24) "When is it out?" Aerosoft replied later that day "Release will be in a few weeks." band
