Hi.

I'm trying to get into FF5 but regularly in the campaign I hit takeoff, it loads showing the blue screen with planes on the right, then goes straight to the briefing screen. I've had a look at the FF5 forum but can't find a solution. It happens on my laptop and my desktop, and it are doiung my head in!!

Anyone help??

I have the same experience, but no solution. It happens to me only in Eurotheater campaign - sometimes CTD, sometimes rash to debriefing screen but never progress to flying (3D screen). I worry this is software (code) bug.

depends what windows you are useing... im on win7 64 bit and it crashes all the time..

I meant has he posted over there. He didn't say he posted, he only said "...I've had a look at the FF5 forum but can't find a solution..."

This bug happens if the minimum time before scheduled takeoff for your sortie is 3 minutes or less. I think you can avoid it by accelerating time and joining the flight once it's on the air... I have not tried it. My FF works, but I still have no HOTAS.

As mentioned,

Please ensure your Take Off time is set to no more than 10 minutes out, but no less than 3 minutes total.

That will fix your problems.
