Tonight Xrok, Dec and I laid virtual waste to various and sundry online opponents. And they clobbered us too. It was as usual a very nice time had by all. (Well I had a blast) Lots of things went boom!! One notable rush fight with Xrok and I defending was very intense and hard fought. We held up the russian attackers at both of the choke points on the Port Valdez map. Both of us were medics. I actually used the SAW like it was designed to be used; to lay down a suppressive fire that hosed every goober that peeked around that corner or rushed out.. Sigh smile Very cool. BFBC2 has it's issues but when it gels it's one of the best. Thanx guys!!

Fun Time, Yes, we did just that Team Work!

Too often we focus on the negative or the misfortune of others and in turn neglect to follow through on our own responsibilities as individuals.

There was time 4 Medic was line up and we were revive each others and keep that road block using our SAW.
it was awsome how engineers was attacking Tanks, and medic was keep all enemy away from our Tanks.
It was still close game. I think that RUSH was best we ever played.

I don't know if its a recent patch or what, but the magic shotguns have ruined it for me. I quit the other night after two rounds. Getting single shot gunned by a running player from 150 meters away is just horse manure. I've put more M60 x's on a guy than on all the bingo cards at fat lady's free beer night at the Legion and had the guy turn around eventually and one-shot me from 50 meters. Yeah, magnum ammo and whatever upgrades, but it just ruins it for me. This was all in hard core.

What they need to do to fix it (an opinion, but its mine so it counts double around my keyboard):

2 minute respawn for snipers. Would eliminate the hordes of assualt snipers on most maps. Also, any sniper with 15% damage would have a sight picture that sways like a flag in the breeze.

Shotgun accuracy curve should fall off a cliff past 30 meters and damage model should collapse past 75 meters.

You have some valid points and suggestions, I doubt Dice will change much with the Nam expansion. I just accept that I will get killed by some overpowered weapon, be it medics with their wall of lead, CG spammers or sniping shotguns, it's a game lol.

I have issues with some of these one shot wonder ray gun weapons but i have tried to come to peace with them... Since I've fired some of the weapons (m60, SAW, m16 and Mortar smile ) I know that some of them are undermodeled and some others are too accurate. But since I play BFBC2 for sh*ts and giggles more than lets say ArmA 1 & 2 which aspires to be more serious purveyors of virtual mayhem I try to not let it get under my skin.. That said, I get just as frustrated at some of the antics I've seen in BFBC2 as the rest and want to throttle the living daylights of the 'evildoers'.

Well, I haven't fired a mortar, but have fired a 3.5 inch 'bazooka' and the M-14 and M-1:)

Yeah, I know it isn't Arma 1 or 2, but when you are trying to get an objective and half your team is sniping (and not very well at that), it does get frustrating and I don't play to raise the stress level.

And then if you have to play on servers in a different continent with a ping over 200 because there are few servers here which results in many deaths, stress level banghead
