Xrok, Dec, PunisherMark and I (Beltfed) ended up playing rush on the SimHQ server this evening. Later we were joined by Dirt as we lost Xrok to a PC crash and Dec to the vagaries of the Japanese time zone

I have a new found love of the UAV! While it is very vulnerable it is very effective as a spotter and it also helped damaged the Rush targets. The battles were hard fought the only bummer is that we were able to only get around 5 people total in the game for most of the night. Usually we start to attract other players after getting about four players on. But tonight no one joined until much later. By then we were winding up the evening.

I had a good time BS'ing with the guys as we traded insults and kills Hopefully we'll do it again soon

Yes, good fun. It may have been because it was rush that few players joined. Usually if we start the server with 3 or 4 on conquest the server fills up. It was good for a change though, I don't play rush as a rule.
BTW XroK with that shotgun was killing the crap out of me lol.

Good games all. I think last night was a good learning night too. With a low person count you get more time to explore and try out some hiding spots, assault paths, or techniques that you normally wouldn't.

Glad to hear you guys had fun. The UAV is a riot, I like using it either the firepower or scope upgrades. Former allows you to easily wipe out vehicles and large groups of infantry clustered together, latter allows you to hang back and safely engage from a stand-off distance.
