On October 23 I am taking part in the Walk from Obesity 5K walk. Being able to do this means alot to me as I have lost 172lbs in the last 14 months[:)] I need people to sponsor/pledge money. I know things are rough right now but if you can give a buck or two it would be great and it's for a good cause. Go to this link http://walkfromobesity.kintera.org/faf/s...A31CD93C2EB6CE9 search my name, Jerry Goodson and donate a little coin[:D]
You can also walk in the event if you want, just join my team, MyNewSelf.

Thanks

Jerry

Holy mackerel, 172lbs? Good work there Sir!

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

I'd be happy to sponsor you, if there were some indication of how the money is/was being used. The website really isn't too informative about what they do with the money that is collected.

(I'm pretty wary regarding charities. My weak spot is veterans aid groups, but some of them are little more than cash cows for fundraisers. And I'm really irritated at the moment with March of Dimes lack of adherence to its own privacy guidelines.)
