Just to recommend a documentary I recently watched.

If you are an aviation enthusiast as most of us here are and haven't heard about this documentary yet, check it out (imdb) and go swipe your card.

A very evocative and emotional look at General Aviation. I'm very familiar with Van Nuys and runway One Six Right. I got my private pilots license there. Great airport. Jets, warbirds, and a squadron of C-130's operated out of there.
I bought this some time ago. Then, a few days later, found that I can watch it for free on HULU!

"From our orbital vantage point, we observe an earth without borders, full of peace, beauty and magnificence, and we pray that humanity as a whole can imagine a borderless world as we see it, and strive to live as one in peace."

Thanks Bono! I'd heard of this film, but never watched it until now. I really liked it.

I love it, mainly for its stunning photography and excellent soundtrack. Plus, it's a very evocative view on my favourite pastime smile

The follow-up is in the making. Check out the trailer. It looks...epic!

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!
