If you ask me, I don't exactly know or see what I did over there. Marjah still sucks. The outlying district I cleared and worked in after I cleared Marjah still sucks. Maybe it's because I didn't see the big picture but whatever. Def glad to be back in America.
I showed this to my wife yesterday and it started all over again.

Not something you should watch while driving, hard to see the road w/ tear filled eyes! I went to a unit homecoming for the NH Army guard, one of my sons friends Dad was in Iraq. Cried like a baby there too. Great video!

Notice how many of the females throw their hands over their mouths when surprised? Must be genetic. Cool though.
Here's hoping that all our troops come home safe to their loved ones.

The song is by Garry Schyman/Palbasha Siddique called Praan. No, it's not in English. Not that it needs to be. The meaning comes through loud and clear.
Whenever I find myself in the mood for a good cry, no matter why, this thread does it for me. Very well.

I figured I'd try it again, see how long it takes for the water works to start.
10 seconds. A new record.
To all our men and women in service overseas, come home soon and safely.

In this time of Thanksgiving, give thanks to all who mean the most to you. And a big thanks to all our military who keep us safe. My son-in-law gave the group prayer yesterday and condensed, that is what he said. My daughter married a good man.
So, watch this video again, cry once more, and celebrate all you have.

Waterworks for me as well. I may not be able to relate to servicemen in the sense of putting their lives on the line, but I can sure relate to the separation. I can't wait to see my wife and my boys again, and I hope to never be apart from them again. Thanks for sharing!
