I'm with the majority here. While looking great and appreciated by the RoF community these heavy bombers are not what RoF needs right now.
What we need are more 2 seaters, BE2/FE2/RE8/Albatros C.III to name a few.
For example there were only approx. 600 of this bomber built (and even less of the Gotha series) but over 4000 RE8 planes alone.
Rabbits, break right and climb.

Yeah, gotta go along with the majority, here. While any new additions are great, I would have thought that making the Bruguet and DFW flyable would have been the next step. They will need their own airfields, won't they? They'll look a bit silly sitting next to those little hangers. "You can't fit that big thing in there!" (That's what SHE said!) They certainly aren't sitting on their hands over there, though, are they? They are really serious about this sim, and are improving it, all the time. In October, if I read the article correctly, we can expect the Sopwith Pup and Triplane. And new water textures. It's only gonna get better.

Guys, they probably decided to go with the rather large bombers first to be sure the code they are creating works on this scale. The HP O/400 would have five positions max, and the Gotha five to six (I'm including the bomb site view as it's own position here). Once they have this code in place, going back down to two-seaters will be easy. Think proof-of-concept here.

Think proof-of-concept hereI'm fairly sure that proof of concept would be two positions as we have just the one right now Then if that worked, expand the number of positions to three, four and in the ultimate five Not to run before we can walk I mean Ming

It works a little different in the software/programming world at times... With certain software, it's better to start out as big as you can, then work your way down. Usually it's the complicated things that cause you grief, and if you start with them first, when you scale back usually you run into little to no problems.

Its a fantastic model, as we've come to expect from the ROF team. Needs a nicer skin though, as I'm sure it'll have on release.
I can't find much info about daylight ops, Wiki says they were used in ground support in defending against the German spring offensive. That'd be March-July 1918. Maybe they were used in daylight army co-op similar to the way Bomber Command assets were used in support of the WW2 Normandy bridgehead in June-July 1944.
