A bit like Concorde and the Tu-144.
If 2 different design teams wanted to make a supersonic airliner, would they come up with something similar because that is the best shape?
You can't help but think about the B-29 that the Russians got hold of and copied wholesale, even down to the 'Boeing' on the foot pedals. The Tu-4.
EV's are the Devils matchbox.

The Tu-160 is not a copy; it is larger, and much faster than a B-1 as well. That it happens to look the same - who cares. F-15's and Su-27's look the same (sort of at least - 2 wings, 2 engines, 2 tails, single pilot? ) and yet they don't perform the same.

For that matter the B1A looks like the B1B but they are far different aircraft both in mission and capabilities.

So which came first??? The chicken or the egg? The egg comes first at breakfast,,,,then the chicken is second because it's for lunch.

Eggs came first, clearly. Always did. Long before there were chickens, there were eggs.

The Russian "borrowed" design of the B1, same to F-15 and Mig-25, it's said that some parts of F-15 derived from MiG-25 design.

Neither is copied. The aircraft are far too different. The B1 is too small by comparison, the F-15 is too maneuverable compared to the MIG-25. The Russian "borrowed" design of the B1, same to F-15 and Mig-25, it's said that some parts of F-15 derived from MiG-25 design.

Nah, I can list things that Country copied each other.
Buran vs U.S Shuttle Tu-144 vs Concord B1 vs Tu-160 MiG-25 vs F-15 MiG-15 vs F-86
Even USA B-2 Bomber derived idea from German aircraft the Horten Ho 229. Copying is nothing to be ashamed of. Copying good things and adapt to our own stuffs to make it better is intelligent.
btw: F-15 is more agile than the MiG-25 because they copied, then improved. And they copied the shape, not the size. Size is not important.

Does it really matters if someone copies a aircraft design?

I think there are more aerodynamic differences between those two than you might glimpse at first sight. I imagine the wing profiles are not even close to similar, and let's not go into avionics or aircraft purpose The shape can easily be coincidentally similar, but those two aircraft do not even share the same mission specifications. btw: F-15 is more agile than the MiG-25 because they copied, then improved. And they copied the shape, not the size. Size is not important.

The F-86 and MiG-15 are definately not copies of each other. Except for the fact that they are both swept wing jets, there is no similarity in the two airplanes, whatsoever. Both owe their existence to captured Nazi swept wing research. However, airplane designers have been getting ideas from one another since airplanes first started flying. Hell, the worlds first fighter plane, the Fokker Eindecker, was an almost exact copy of the French Morane monoplane. The Fokker Triplane idea was copied from the British Sopwith design. Been going on ever since. And not just military types. Can't tell ya how many Piper Cub clones are out there!
