Why not uploading the Steel Fury stuff to filefront or other free webspace provider?
I could upload all the stuff to filefront within minutes.

Well it sort of is. In the SFK42 Essentials sticky, there is a link where you can go and D/L most of the SFK42 mods (sorry only a few missions there) but there is one condition. I have obtained permission from the mod authors to host the files for D/L as a back up when Tanksim.ru is not available for a couple days. But as soon as Tanksim.ru is back up I deactivate the mods from being public and make the files private again. Some of the authors want Tanksim.ru to be the main source for the downloads of their SFK42 mods, and I respect their wish's 110%. But all were kind enough to allow a back channel access to their mods in the event they are temporarly unavailable through the regular means. I understand this may seem a little cumbersome or an inconvenience to some, but I feel the people who put their personal time and effort to give us these fantastic (and free) mods, have the right to place whatever restrictions they wish on where and how they can be accessed and as such I respect their wishes.
