Am I missing something? I didn't read in the linked thread, that this is a league edition?

EDIT: Checked at virtualr.net, it's indeed described there as league edition.

The driving style of the cars is very raw and go-kart-like, which is fun and challenging. And the mod runs great for me: At Mosport I am clocking about 150-200 fps, give or take, in single car practice with all the settings cranked up save for shadow blur. Good stuff!

It's a League Edition so all the cars are the same driving-wise. Looking forward to the historical version.

The sounds are pretty impressive, the Cosworth is probably the best I've heard in any sim/mod. Turn up de volume to de max. tuner

And with Kyalami 1970 just released, it is getting very nostalgic! driving

Outstanding mod IMO. A compelling argument for owning rfactor, even if you are addicted to iracing.

I'm have a bit of a problem getting my G27 to select neutral when I come out of gear though. I created a gated shifter profile just to drive these cars, but can't seem to get the settings right. The car always remain in gear when shifting to the center, except for shifting to 6th, which then selects neutral.

What I have done so far.
- Setup a controller profile with each gear selected except for neutral and 7th.

- Changed the driver_name.plr lines to this:
Auto Clutch="0"
Auto Lift="0"
Auto Blip="0"
Shift Mode="0"
Repeat Shifts="0"
Manual Shift Override Time="0.60000"
Auto Shift Override Time="0.55000"
Hold Clutch On Start="0"

- Changed the controller.ini line:
Gear Select Button Hold="1" << OK SOMEHOW THIS GETS CHANGED BACK TO "0" when the sim starts

- In the Vehicle Upgrades turned selected No Auto Blip

- In rfactor turned off all aids

Does someone know why my controller.ini reverts?

Thanks.

Edit: Problem solved. There is the same line

Gear Select Button Hold="1"

...in the controller setup that you create (mine is called chip_g27_gated.ini). I suppose that overwrites the controller.ini.
