Yep, PM...good thing Germany didn't get one before the break. However, this match is not finished yet, I expect strong Argentines in the second half.

yup,

I hope the missed opportunity of a 2:0 (Klose) won`t bite us in the back in the end. Argentina was getting stronger a we lost a little our system.

On to the second half.

If someone had told me that before the match I would have asked, what kind of drugs he or she had taken!

Definately!!!!!!

Wow, what a match.

Spain (I guess they will win this evening) will be hard, but after this match I would expect we`re not outclassed.

Oh happy day!

To me it seems, the stronger the opponents are the better match is to expect by Germany. Very odd.

Got back from my hike in time for the second goal. Man the Germans are on a roll, and to think several of their best players aren't even in the WC (Ballack, for instance).

Maybe it shows a team working together without the megastars are better than the sum of it's components (see France, England, Argentina).

Congrats to Germany, they completely outclassed Argentina. Didn't expect that at all.

So the final will be the Netherlands against Germany I think. If that's the case, we, the Netherlands, have a tough game...

Next up: Spain against Paraguay. Again I'll be rooting for the Southamericans, go Paraguay! (although I should know better)

I'm speechless!!! I expected Argentina to offer some resistance at least, but they rolled over and played dead. What started off as a less-than-inspiring World Cup is turning out to be what I must call the most exciting in my lifetime so far.

What_a_game!

woot

And what a contrast between the likes of superstars like Messi who seem far too 'special' to burden themselves with actually labouring, struggling and fighting for their team, and the German players where everyone played in, and for a real team.
